Andy Farrell has made 14 changes to his British & Irish Lions team to face Queensland Reds, as the Qatar Airways British & Irish Lions Tour to Australia 2025 ramps up.
The Lions are now in a run of four matches in 11 days, and three in eight, as they continue to warm-up for the first Tests against Australia on July 19.
Fly-half Finn Russell is the only player to keep his place in the starting XV, which includes first appearances for scrum-half Jamison Gibson-Park and full-back Hugo Keenan.
Meanwhile, Farrell revealed the sad news that scrum-half Tomos Williams will miss the rest of the Tour due to a hamstring injury sustained in the 54-7 win against Western Force.
HALF-BACK COMBO
It's certainly a tasty half-back combination, with Jamison Gibson-Park thrown straight into the starting XV after recovering from a minor glute problem.
The Ireland scrum-half joins forces with Finn Russell, who was excellent against Western Force on Saturday, in what is a potential Test partnership.

Gibson-Park starts ahead of Alex Mitchell, who got the nod against Argentina in The 1888 Cup and came off the bench to replace an injured Williams on Saturday.
The Leinster playmaker was named in the World Rugby’s Dream Team of the Year last season and has enjoyed a fine campaign, earning the man-of-the-match award in Ireland’s Six Nations win against England in February.
How he and Russell gel will be fascinating to see. They share similar attacking characteristics, and it could be box-office.
ITOJE AND CHESSUM UNITE
Andy Farrell has spoken a lot about the benefit of familiar combinations on this Tour and in the second-row, he has gone for an all-England pairing.
Itoje retakes his place in the starting XV after sitting out the win against Western Force and will make his first appearance in Australia, while Chessum joins him for his first start as a Lion.
Chessum missed The 1888 Cup game after playing for Leicester Tigers in the Premiership final a week before and came off the bench against Force.

The pair are England’s first-choice lock combination and have helped Steve Borthwick’s side become one of the strongest lineout operators around.
The Lions will hope for plenty of that on Wednesday.
ARGENTINA COMBOS RESUME
There is also the return of flankers Tom Curry and Jac Morgan, who will be chomping at the bit after missing the Western Force match.
They impressed in flashes against Argentina but with the Test series getting closer, will want a statement performance.
Meanwhile, his fellow Irishman Jack Conan gets a first start of the Tour. Conan is the only specialist No.8 in the squad, through the Lions have plenty of versatile back-rowers capable of playing across the line.

Duhan van der Merwe admitted he struggled against the Pumas but remains a world-class winger, while Tommy Freeman will again start alongside him on the opposite side.
KEENAN CHANCE
Like Gibson-Park, injury has also kept Hugo Keenan out of the first few matches but he has a chance to stake his claim on Wednesday.
Marcus Smith and Elliot Daly have had the first crack at winning the full-back jersey, with the latter particularly impressive against Western Force, scoring two tries.
Keenan is doing a fine job of completing a sporting bucket list as he adds a British & Irish Lions Tour to an Olympics appearance.
The 29-year-old, who represented Ireland’s rugby sevens side at Paris 2024, returned to the 15-a-side game for the 2024/25 season.
Widely regarded as one of the best attacking full-backs in the game, he will bring plenty of pace and a nose for the try-line as the Lions go in hunt of victory.
WHITE BROUGHT IN
Soon after the news dropped that Williams’ Tour was done, the Lions announced Scotland scrum-half Ben White has been called-up to the squad.
The scrum-half has been a regular presence for Scotland on the international stage in recent years and will now look to take the step up in the famous Lions jersey.
White will arrive on Monday and will be available for the game against the NSW Waratahs on Saturday.
He will jostle with Gibson-Park and Williams for a Test place.
