Six referees will take charge of matches on the Lions Tour of Australia: Ben O’Keeffe (New Zealand), Andrea Piardi (Italy), Nika Amashukeli (Georgia), James Doleman (New Zealand), Paul Williams (New Zealand) and Pierre Brousset (France).

Ben O’Keeffe will referee the first Lions Test in Brisbane, Andrea Piardi the Second in Melbourne and Nika Amashukeli the Third and final Test in Sydney. James Doleman (New Zealand) will referee the Lions encounter with Argentina in the 1888 Cup in Dublin on 20 June.

Piardi and Nika Amashukeli become the first Italian and Georgian respectively to take charge of a Lions Test.

O’Keeffe will take charge of his second Lions Test, having overseen the Second Test of the 2021 tour to South Africa.

Richard Kelly (New Zealand), Eric Gauzins (France) and Marius Jonker (South Africa) are the three Television Match Officials.
