Henry Pollock is soaking up all the knowledge he can from British & Irish Lions roommate Owen Farrell.

Pollock, the youngest player on Tour, has been taking full advantage of his proximity to four-time Tourist Farrell who made his first appearance in Australia in the 48-0 win over AUNZ Invitational XV.

Farrell joined up with the Lions earlier this month as a replacement for the injured Elliot Daly, and 20-year-old Pollock has already felt the impact of such experience.

"It was good to get chatting to him. He is an amazing player and an amazing person as well," said Pollock.

"It's amazing to have him here, and with his experience there is no-one else like him. He has given 100% to the team - he has been on top of everything, which is what you want from him.

"He has been great. I am learning so much from him and the other players. His experience is like no other."

Pollock scored his first try for the Lions in the 48-0 win in Adelaide, as Andy Farrell’s squad made its final appearance ahead of the first Test against Australia in Brisbane on Saturday.

A strong final warm-up match means the Head Coach has been given plenty of positive selection headaches, with Pollock part of a strong suite of back row options.

Pollock lined up alongside Jac Morgan and Ben Earl against AUNZ Invitational XV, while Josh van der Flier came off the bench with Jack Conan, Tom Curry, and Ollie Chessum also at Farrell’s disposal.

Whatever role Pollock has against Australia, the 20-year-old is ready to play his part.

"I am happy to play wherever in the back row, whether that is at six, seven or eight, I will adjust and try my best," he said.

"If that is me playing or not playing then I will adjust and be the best player I can be."

Pollock is certainly not lacking any confidence heading into the first Test, where the Lions are looking to extend their winning run Down Under.

The Lions have won their last five matches on the Tour, and will be looking to pick up where they left off on the 2013 Tour, which finished with a 41-16 win to seal the series victory in Sydney.

And Pollock has big aims for the current group, who are eyeing on bettering the record of the squad that played Down Under 12 years ago.

"We want to come here and be the best Lions team ever," he added. “We have been talking about that loads and 3-0 is definitely on the table, hopefully.

"We are all trying to striving to be the best team we can be and get that 3-0 win."
